How it works

Step 1: Pick your pleasure.

Peruse our outings and decide which one (or two, or three…) float your boat. We offer everything from deeply urban adventures to communing with nature, so there’s something for everyone. Once you have a pretty good idea of which outing you’d like to book or would like to hear more about, simply proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Let’s talk.

Give us a ring, or email us to get more information, and to reserve a date and time for your outing. If you can’t decide which outing is right for you and yours, we’ll ask a few questions to help you narrow your choices. We want to customize your day so that it’s perfect for you.

At the time of booking, we’ll ask for your American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover so that we can secure your space on the Carried Away calendar and then we’ll send a confirmation email so that you can check that all of the details are correct. Your card won’t be charged till after the outing.

In the days leading up to your outing, we’ll confirm dates, times, number in your party and pick-up/drop-off locations, and other details that will ensure your comfort, safety and a high fun factor on your outing.

Step 3: Get Carried Away.

On the day of your outing we’ll pick you up in Carried Away’s hard-to-miss touring car. You can expect that your needs will be attended to with a non-smoking environment, snacks, beverages, itineraries and a selection of local magazines. Most importantly, your Tour Guides, Vikki and Dianne, will be poised to take you on your personalized outing for the best day ever.

Cancellation Policy

Outings with Carried Away can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance. Within 48 hours all reservations are considered final and the full cost of the planned outing will be charged to your credit card. Outings will proceed rain or shine with the necessary variations made to accommodate the weather. No-shows are treated as last-minute cancellations and will also be charged in full.

Liability

All guests of Carried Away will be asked to sign a waiver of liability prior to the start of their outing.

Licenses

Carried Away, LLC is licensed by the California Public Utilities Commission, and is fully insured in accordance with the CPUC requirements.
